8a. Trials, offers and renewal
A renewing trial requires the store payment method and becomes paid unless cancelled. Before confirming, check the selected plan, trial length, first charge date, recurring price and billing period in the store. Google 30-day and Apple one-month trials are not necessarily the same number of days. Eligibility is checked by the store and our protected service; a code does not guarantee eligibility. An offer redemption deadline only limits when the offer can be claimed: it does not end a trial already validly started. Any non-renewing offer must be expressly identified as such. Normal subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled. We do not charge you merely for accepting these Terms.
8b. Cancelling and restoring a subscription
Cancel renewal in the store used for purchase: Apple Settings > your name > Subscriptions, or Google Play > Payments and subscriptions > Subscriptions. The app's Manage Subscription control opens the relevant store where supported. Follow the cancellation deadline shown by the store. Apple advises cancelling a free or discounted trial at least 24 hours before it ends; do not wait until the last moment. Check the store's confirmation and access end date. Uninstalling the app or deleting your Cutting With Sam account does not cancel the subscription. Cancelling future renewal is separate from requesting a refund. Use Restore Purchases with the original store account; a receipt cannot be reassigned to another app account without verified support review. If these controls fail or you cannot access the store, contact support promptly.
8c. Refunds, cancellation rights and faults
Refund requests can be made through Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com or Google Play's refund process, or raised with us at samsamthecarpetman.est2006@gmail.com. Include the app account email, purchase date and order reference if available, and explain the problem. Do not send passwords, verification codes or full payment-card details. We will investigate issues with our app and assist with the appropriate store process; statutory remedies remain available. A store decision does not remove any separate legal claim you have against us. We do not operate a blanket no-refunds policy. Consumers buying at a distance normally have a 14-day cancellation period, subject to the rules for the particular digital content or service supplied. For digital content supplied immediately, loss of that right requires the legally required express consent and acknowledgement; accepting these general Terms or reading the Privacy Policy is not that waiver. For services started at your express request during that period, a lawful proportionate charge may apply. These cancellation exceptions do not remove rights where content or services are faulty, misdescribed or otherwise fail to meet applicable legal standards. You can notify us of statutory cancellation or a complaint by a clear email; no special form is required. We will explain our response and any available next steps.
